Dr Matthew Erickson is an expert in general cardiology, heart failure management, assessment and management of chest pain and coronary angiography and scenting. He has dual sub specialties in interventional cardiology and echocardiography, with a special interest in the assessment of ischaemia, management of patients with heart failure, echocardiographic assessment of the heart (including stress and transoesophageal echocardiography) and coronary revascularisation. Dr Ariel Karen is an expert in the advanced management of atrial fibrillation, ablation and management of cardiac arrhythmia and the implantation and follow up of pacemakers, defibrillators and cardiac re synchronization devices for heart failure management. Her fields of expertise include management of acute chest pain, lengthy term care of ischaemic heart disease (including risk factor modification), medical management of arrhythmia, monitoring of valvular heart disease, heart failure, hypertension and other general cardiology issues. She is available for the assessment and management of perioperative cardiovascular issues such as cardiovascular risk assessment, anti coagulation and anti platelet management and management of perioperative issues like atrial fibrillation, heart failure and acute coronary syndromes. His local and international research has resulted in hundreds of journal publications and conference presentations, as well as academic appointments (currently at the University of Western Australia). She trained in medicine and cardiology and has a PhD from the University of Melbourne. His sub specialty is interventional cardiology and his key interests include clinical epidemiology, structural heart intervention and acute coronary syndromes, with an ongoing dedication to clinical research at both a national and international level. He is an interventional cardiologist whose key interests include coronary angioplastystenting, renal enervation, renal artery scenting and valvuloplasty. Dr shitty is actively involved in meaningful research in the area of cutting edge technologies and is frequently invited to speak at national and international conferences. Aside from General Cardiology, his special areas of interest include management of all cardiac arrhythmia, implantation and followup of pacemakers and defibrillators, and the management of inherited cardiac conditions.
